DAN FINN CLASSIC: PATERSON EASTSIDE, ST.ANTHONY AND LINDEN WIN!

Jersey City Armory,N.J….. The 11th Annual Dan Finn Classic took place at the Jersy City Armory and Gardenstatehoops caught the last three games! Paterson Eastside, St.Anthony and Linden went home victorious!012

Senior Asem Johnson(pictured) scored 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and Senior Shakur Juiston added 10 points,7 rebounds,4 assists and 4 blocked shots as Paterson Eastside dismantled Atlantic City 59-34! Eastside took a 16-2 1st quarter lead and never looked back as A.C. could not hit a shot early Junior Terra Gatling added 10 points for Eastside and Junior Marlon Ebanks scored 9! Senior Kevin Allenled Atlantic City with 10 points!

Junior Taurean Thompson(pictured) scored 15 points with 9 rebounds, Wichita St. commit Markis McDuffie added 14 points and Sophomore R.J. Cole chipped in 11 points as St. Anthony easily defeated the Patrick School 58-37! The Patrick School took a 6-0 lead to start the game, but it was the only good thing to happen for them the rest of the contest as the Friars tied it up late in the 1st quarter, then outscored the Patrick School 20-5 in the 2nd quarter to take a 30-13 halftime lead! The second half was a formality! The Patrick School was led by Junior Rakym Felder with 11 points, Sophomore Jamir Harris with 10 points and Junior Bryce Aiken with 8!

Senior Otis Livinston scored 21 points and Senior Joshua Carter had 17 points as Linden took over the 2nd half and held on to beat Long Island Lutheran 63-51! Linden went into the half tied at 18, but outscored Lutheran 24-10 in the 3rd to take a 42-28 lead to start the 4th quarter! Lutheran could not overcome the deficit as it made runs but never could get over the hump! Elijah Bailey scored 15 points for Lutheran and Devonte Green added 12!
