Eastside Group 4 Sectional Champs!

              The Eastside seniors got it done! Karon Abraham, Dave Robertson-West and Bryant Lewis accomplished their goal of winning back to back Group 4 Sectional Finals blowing out Union City H.S. 87-59. Abraham led the way with 26 points while West finished with 25. Union City came out fast taking a 14-4 lead to start the game. The Ghosts managed to get within 2 by the end of the 1st quarter at 18-16. They then got busy defensively limiting them to 7 2nd quarter points to take a 33-25 lead. Eastside took complete control in the 2nd half scoring 25 points in the 3rd as Lewis scored all 16 of his points in the quarter. Union City was led by Jonathan Agurto with 16 points while Abdul Ais had 15 and Anthony Arias added 12. The Ghosts now will meet Plainfield H.S. at the Elizabeth Dunn Center for the Group 4 North final.
