HUDSON CATHOLIC JINGLE BELLS JUBILEE CHAMPS!!!!

Paterson,N.J……. The Jingle Bells Jubilee came to it’s conclusion as Hudson Catholic and Paterson Eastside squared off in the Championship game! In a tough gritty game Hudson Catholic left with the Jingle Bells title!

Hudson Catholic took a 17-7 1st quarter lead and handled numerous Eastside runs to hold on to a 51-47 win and become this years Jingle Bells Jubilee Champions! Senior Nassir Barrino(pictured) who was voted the Most Outstanding Player in the tournament scored 15 points to lead Hudson Catholic! Eastside was led by Senior Asem Johnson, who scored 18 points, including all 14 of Eastside’s points in the 3rd quarter and Senior Shakur Juiston who finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds! Sophomore Patrick Strzala scored 9 points as he hit three huge”triples” in the 1st half to help push the Hawks lead early! Senior Marion Williams scored 9 points and dished out 5 assists and Freshman Luther Muhammad added 8 points for the winners! Senior Aaryn Abrams came off the bench to score 8 points for Eastside!
