MONDAY FALLBALL RESULTS: KENNEDY, POPE JOHN, BERGEN CATHOLIC AND NEWARK TECH GET W’S!

 Kennedy HS, Paterson, NJ… In the Monday Fallball League sponsored by the Playaz Basketball Club and the Paterson Recreation Kennedy, Pope John, Bergen Catholic and Newark Tech left with wins!

Kennedy was in a good one with St. Peters Prep that went down to the wire! Sophomore Alphonso Gee led Kennedy with 19 points and Junior Charles Powell gave Kennedy 12 points off the bench to help offset Senior Austin White’s 20 points as Kennedy pulled off a 57-54 win! Prep shot a desperation three to end the contest! Junior Jeromy Rodriguez scored 19 points as Pope John Sparta beat North 13th St. 61-39! Pope played without the services of Junior Moustapha Diagne! Junior Justin Salem(far right) scored 13 points and Sophomore Gilberto Cue added 11 points with 10 coming in the second half as Bergen Catholic defeated Christian Brothers Academy 53-44! Sophomore Patrick Andree led CBA with 10 points! In the final game of the night, DePaul Senior Juwaun Carter scored 27 of his team’s 41 points but it wasn’t enough to get past Newark Tech as Freshman R.J.Cole right) scored 15 points to lead a balanced Tech team to a 50-41 win!h
