NOTTINGHAM WINS GROUP 3 STATE CHAMPIONS!

New Brunswick, N.J…Nottingham defeated Chatham 60-53 to win the Group 3 State Championship!

Senior Darel Johnson scored 20 points and Senior Cliff Joseph added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists as Nottingham took a 14-13 lead after the 1st and never relinquished the lead, despite Chatham threats throughout! Senior Jack Rooney’s “triple” cut the lead to 44-39, but a “triple” from Johnson and two free throws from Joseph stemmed the tide! Senior Mac Bredahl led Chatham with 23 points and Rooney added 16 points for Chatham in defeat!
