Northern Highlands H.S. Allendale, N.J….. The round of 16 Jamboree Tournament had it’s round of 16 and in the games at Northern Highlands H.S. Paramus Catholic, Ramsey, Pascack Hills and Bergen Catholic all advDSC00992anced!

 

                                            

 

 

                                                            PARAMUS CATHOLIC  89      DWIGHT MORROW  60

Junior Niko Ruffin(#3) scored 23 points and Junior Derrick Bueno(#24) added 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead Paramus Catholic to a 90-60 win over Dwight-Morrow! P.C. led at the half 37-18 and never felt threatened! SeniorDSC00993 Jordan Morris scored 16 points with 6 assists for Paramus Catholic! Senior Andres Fulgencio led Dwight-Morrow with 21 points, 19 in the second half!

Cornell commit Sean Hansen(#20) and Senior Jaden Quinerly scored 29 points apiece to lead Ramsey to a 90-72 win over a game Saddle River Day squad! Hansen also grabbed 13 rebounds in the contest! Senior Steven Turk scored 13 points, pulled down 9 rebounds with 3 steals and 2 blocked shots! Saddle River Day tried to stay in the game as they made 16 “triple” led by Freshman Richard MacDSC00995hado who scored 23 points, maDSC00994king 6 of them himself! Junior Ryan Cassels scored 18 points and  Senior Connor Cyran finished with 16 points for Saddle River!

Senior Jason Schulman scored 16 points, Junior Jake Morales added 15 and Junior Aiden Kehoe(pictured) finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds to lead Pascack Hills to a 62-51 win over DSC00996Ramapo! Senior Max Pernetti was a one man gang at stages of the contest as he scored 27 points and grabbed 7 rebounds! Ramapo cut the lead down to 6, but could not get over the threshold! Junior Jason Keith added 8 points for Ramapo!

Hasbrouck Heights hung in there for a quarter, actually leading at the end of the 1st 16-15, but Bergen Catholic took over the rest of the game in defeating Heights 83-46! Sophomore Julian Brown scored 22 points, Sophomore Will Richardson added 17 points and Notre Dame commit finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead Bergen Catholic, but the change of the game came from the efforts of Senior’s Rashard Figures(#5) and Jaheim Davis(#0) who both did the things that don’t always show up in the boxscore! Figures finished with 7 assists and Davis added 4 assists and 4 steals, with them coming during BC’s run to take control of the contest! Junior Kunga Tsering  scored 21 points and Junior Jaden Castro added 15 for Hasbrouck Heights!DSC00998
