Paterson Charter School Paterson, N.J…… Paterson Charter went up against the big boys in playing Kennedy and more than held it’s own as they came from 10 points down to defeat the Knights in overtime 54-51! Michael Ferguson led the way with for Charter with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Asim Jones finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists! Jahsair Rosa and Moshe Wilson keyed the defensive end for Charter! Charter’s Jahar Pierce’s 3 point play in OT gave them the lead for good! Ricardo Jones led Kennedy with 12 points and Jae’waun Abrams added 11!

Wayne, N.J…… After a close first half, Paterson Charter turned on the defensive intensity to pull away from DePaul in a 51-37 win! Asim Jones led Charter with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks! Jashair Rosa contributed a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for Charter and Jamir Belfield chipped in 7 points and 6 assists! Tyler Koenig led DePaul with 11 points and 13 rebounds!

Kennedy’s Jae’Waun Abrams

Montvale, N.J…… Paterson Kennedy started the game on an 8-0 run, then spent the rest of the contest holding off St. Joseph Regional on it’s way to a tight 57-55 win! Jae’Waun Abrams led Kennedy with 16 points, while Jay’Quan Briggs added 11! Yasen Crawford scored 8 points, including making a big free throw late and Devinir Garvey also scored 8 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and blocked 6 shots with the biggest one coming late in the game! St. Joe’s was led by Yair Aburus with 19 points and Daniel Lans with 16!
