Junior Alphonso (Chop) Gee is one of the most prolific scorers in the area as he has already eclipsed the 1,000 point mark with a great shot at finishing over the 2,000 point plateau by the time his career is over! Kennedy has tremendous guards coming back and with the addition of some big men they are primed to make noise this season! At the end of the day, this teams success will go as far as Gee takes them! GARDENSTATEHOOPS DIARY: SEAN MCKINLESS–ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL
Sean McKinless has had a big summer in AAU entering his Senior season and is primed to lead St.Joe’s back to prominence. His team has plenty of depth and perimeter skilled guys and if they can get a decent output from their front court they will be making noise at the end of the basketball year! McKinless has upped his game tremendously and is the leader of this squad as he has been a key component the past two years! His skills and leadership will be the defining factor for Joe’s! Teaneck’s spectacular Super Soph Leondre Washington is the 3rd ranked Sophomore in the State and one of the best players in New Jersey! With the graduation of four of Teaneck’s starters this season Leondre will be looked upon to do even more than he did last year in a great freshman season! In a look at the feelings of some of the best players in the area for the new basketball season, Leondre will give a scope of his basketball campaign through the year!
