PASSAIC COUNTY TOURNAMENT POSTPONED!!!

Due to inclement weather the Passaic County tournament which was to be played at Kennedy H.S. in Paterson,N.J. has been postponed to Monday! Unfortunately all games will be played at the higher seeds home court instead of all the games at one location!  DePaul will host Passaic Valley, Eastside will host Hawthorne Christian,  Passaic Tech will go to Passaic and Kennedy will host Wayne Valley!

HUDSON CATHOLIC ROLLS PAST MARIST 68-48!!

004Marist H.S., Bayonne,NJ…. Senior Reggie Cameron, Senior Kavon Stewart and Sophomore Nassir Barrino led Hudson Catholic to a surprisingly easy win over Marist 68-48! In front of a hostile crowd the Hawks put on a strong display of teamwork offensively and tough defense against a good Marist team! Cameron(right), the Georgetown commit was a deadeye as he shot 11 for 13 from the floor on his way to a 28 point game, 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots! Stewart, the Robert Morris commit scored 16 points, dished out 9 assists with 2 steals! Barrino added 12 points, with 4 assists and 4 steals! More importantly they did a great defensive job as a team! Junior Safee Sabur did a particularly good  job on Senior Fordham recruit Manny Suarez who was held to 13 points and 4 rebounds! Senior Jaron Smith led Marist with 14 points and Senior Tony White added 10 points! Hudson Catholic improved to 22-1 for the season, while Marist fell to 16-3!

Fort Lee Junior guard Josh Ford joined his Senior teammate Nick Gentile as the second player to reach 1,000 points in his 003career!Ford went over the 1,000 point threshold in a win against River Dell 57-33 He finished the game with 11 points!
