The pressure did not stop there as Teaneck continued to force missed shots and ride the scoring of their two studs, Senior Joel Hernandez and Senior Shakir Lindsey! Teaneck took total control of the game and went into the half up 44-22 and never looked back! The impressive aspect of Teaneck’s manhandling of Tech was that while Hernandez and Lindsey did their usual thing, more and more they are getting huge contributions from other players on the team! HACKENSACK 70 IRVINGTON 53
If it was told that high scoring Junior wing Rashard Figures would finish a game with only 4 points, you would assume that Hackensack was in a dog fight or lost the contest! Neither was the case as the Comets rolled past Irvington 70-53 and will meet Teaneck in the “Chip”! Hackensack took a 36-18 halftime lead and just like Teaneck coasted to the victory!
