SATURDAY FALLBALL RESULTS PATRICK SCHOOL,HACKENSACK,ST.PETERS PREP AND ST BENEDICTS PREP WIN

Don Bosco Tech, Paterson,N.J…….Patrick School, St.Peters Prep, St.Benedicts and  Hackensack  all got wins in the Playaz sponsored Fallball League! The Patrick School beat Newark Tech 54-49 in a tough contest! Hackensack coasted against Passaic County Tech 58-39, St. Peters Prep beat Don Bosco Prep 48-26 and St. Benedicts defeated Eastside 61-39!

 

FEATURE: St. Peters Prep Junior guard Austin White(pictured) was impressive in their victory over Don Bosco Prep, showing long range and getting out on the break to finish plays! He finished with 20 for the game! Senior Jamiek Moore and Junior Rashard Figures also played well for Hackensack against Passaic County Tech! Moore finished with 22, while Figures had 16! St. Benedicts prep squad features A.J. Sumblin and Plainfield’s Jahmal Lane along with Plainfield lightning quick guard Ahmad Williams! The Patrick School showcased New York’s Isaiah Lewis and got good play from former St. Anthony player Chris Regus!

WEDNESDAY FALLBALL RESULTS! St. Benedicts, Hudson Catholic, St. Anthony And Teaneck Get Wins!!!

Kennedy H.S. Paterson, N.J……  Playaz sponsored FallBall results for Wednesday: St. Anthony beat Kennedy H.S. 45-11 as Oregon State commit Hallice Cooke scored 11 points! St. Benedict’s behind Tyler Ennis 20 and Mike Young’s 11 beat Pope John Sparta 74-33 Sparta was led by Jermaine Lawrence with 12! Teaneck beat Newark Eastside in a spirited game 43-39 as Joel Hernandez and Shakir Lindsey combined for 29 points! Ahmad Harrison led Newark with 14 points! Reggie Cameron scored 36 points to lead Hudson Catholic to a 62-54 win over Gill St. Bernard! Kavon Stewart had double digit assists in the contest for the Hawks! Jaren Sina and Chris Jenkins led Gill with 18 and 17 respectively!

FEATURE: With Seton Hall alums in the building, Cameron (left)shot the lights out of the rock in Hudson’s win! The Hall are finalists in Cameron’s College choices and gave him a reminder with the fan support! Also, despite the loss tonight Lawrence(right),Rivals #19 ranked player for class of 2013 showed that he is an exceptional athlete! While a little inconsistent from the perimeter he still showed flashes when attacking the rim! St. Benedict’s played without their Super Soph Isaiah Briscoe due to a hip flexor!(That good George?)

St. Anthony 6’3 shooting guard Hallice Cooke has pledged his College commitment to Oregon State! He chose the Beavers over Richmond, St. Joe’s, Dayton and V.C.U. Cooke thanked his St. Anthony Head Coach Bob Hurley,Brian Coleman, Carlos Cuerto and Ed Bright who runs Cooke’s AAU team Sports U! Hoop Journal would like to congratulate Hallice and his family on his decision and hope for nothing but the best in the future!!!
