The object of the state playoffs is to survive and advance. Kennedy Highschool did just that as they overcame a 4 point deficit with 42 seconds left to get by Passaic County Tech 50-49 and again meet their crosstown rival Eastside highschool in the quarterfinals of the Group 4 state sectionals. Jordan Theodore finally got what he set out to do. After four years of seeking that elusive Passaic County championship ,Theodore was able to reach his goal, with alot of help from his teammates as Paterson Catholic beat Eastside Highschool 84-78. The high energy game was filled with energizing and electrifying plays throughout as each team seemed to be up to the task.Even though P.C. held the lead the entire time the Ghosts of Eastside continued to fight back.
