THE WEEKEND EVENT SESSION 3: GILL ST BERNARD TAKES HOME”CHIP”!

 

Montclair St. Montclair, N.J….The Playaz sponsored “The Weekend” Showcase Event came to it’s conclusion and in a day loaded with Top Teams saw Gill St. Bernard walk away victorious!

Gill St. Bernard defeated Immaculate Conception 67-52 as Rutgers commit and Rising Senior Paul Mulcahy led the way with 16 points, Rising Junior William Sousie added 14 points and Rising Freshman Denver Anglin chipped in 13 points! Rising Sophomore Amer’e Marshall finished with 13 points and Rising Junior Elijah Hutchins-Everett and Rising Junior Nick Jourdain added 10 points apiece!

Gill St. Bernard reached the championship game by defeating The Patrick School 68-66 on a follow up by Soucie with 5 seconds left on the clock! He finished with 18 points! Al-Amir Dawes finished with 20 for The Patrick School! Immaculate Conception beat Roselle Catholic 57-53 as Rising Junior Zion Bethea led the way with 15 points! Rising Senior Khalil Whitney led R.C. with 15 points!

Their were a host of high level talent in the gym and it brought out the Who’s who of the Coaching world as Kentucky, Seton Hall, Rutgers, UConn, Georgetown, Louisville, St. Joe’s, Georgia, St. Bonaventures, FDU, Morgan St., Wagner, St. Peters Prep were among schools in building!

 

Whiney(Roselle Cath.in green), Josh Pierre -Louis(R.C.), Richard Greaves(R.C.) Dawes(Patrick School in white), Xander Rice(Patrick School), Mulcahy(Gill St.Bernard in blue),Soucie(GSB), Anglin(GSB), Zion Bethea(Immaculate Conception), Hutchins-Everett(I.C. in gray), Jayden Brown(I.C.),Marshall(IC), Nick Jourdain(I.C.), Zaire Rogers(I.C.), Zach Freemantle(Bergen Catholic), Matt Zona(B.C.), Doug Edert(B.C.), Antonio Sellers( Hudson Catholic in black), Shane Dezonie(H.C.), Danny Rodriguez(H.C.), D’Andre Reed(Pope John), Eddie Davis(P.J.),DiAndre South(P.J.), Francisco Paulino(P.J.) were some of the talent that shined on the floor today!
