WEST MILFORD DEFEATS WAYNE VALLEY 72-66!

Wayne,N.J….. In a high spirited, well played game Senior Noah Basket(right) and Senior Pat Burke sparked a fourth quarter run to push West Milford past Wayne Valley 72-66! Basket finished with 26 points and 7 assists and Burke(left) added 16 points and 13 rebounds! West Milford trailed going into the 4th 56-53 as Junior Alex Kokos who finished with 8 points and 11 assists and Senior Nick Popadics (14pts,9 rebs) led the attack for Valley! West Milford tied the game with 3:10 left at 61 on a Burke follow up! They then went ahead 64-61 on a “triple” by Senior Tom Pegel(17 pts)! Basket then made a steal which turned into another Burke basket and West Milford had a 66-61 lead with 2:05 left in the game! West Milford held on the rest of the way! Senior Mike Otero scored 13 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists for West Milford! Senior Tom Greve led Valley with 15 points, while Junior Nick Goodwin chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds!
